Hello everyone!

I want to welcome anyone who has the same love of 3D Printing to our new forums. This website is only about one year old, but the community is has grown is amazing. We all seem to share the same interest over modding our affordable printers! Instead of buying something very expensive up front, it's much more fun to buy a budget printer and modify it to print just as well!

If you are new to our forums, please do not hesitate to leave us a "Hello" in this forum! We want to know what type of printer you have, the mods you have done so far and what your ultimate goals are in 3D Printing. Oh you can also let us know where you are from!

Let's have a good time and build this community!

hi all, i just want to say hi, im fairly new to 3d printing..been in it for about 3 months or so..i started out with a xvico printer and didnt have much luck on it, so i sent it back and decided to get a ender 5 pro. so far i upgraded and added the btt skr mini e3 v1.2, added a creality bl touch, added a btt smart sensor and a glass bed. now trying to get everything working together is where my problems are. i bought the rasperry pi 4 and the touch screen for it.. loaded octoprint and got everything working, and some reason when i left to head to work for 8 days, i came back and the touch screen was active anymore.. so not sure if my software crashed or what...anyways.. here i am.. my prints so far are comming out pretty good, have the bl touch and smart sensor disabled because im trying to figure out how to compile marlin 2.0 on the vscode software...my prints without the bl touch and smart sensor are comming out pretty good, but i hope when i get everything working together they will come out alot better..im 46, work on the railroad and travel alot for my job, so if your near within a couple states from texas or in texas , maybe we can meet up and talk 3d printing 🙂 and thats about it.. nice to meet all of you 🙂
