Hi!

After a week of trying to get the SKR mini E3 board to work on my Ender 5, I finally found the firmaware posted here. Compiled it and so far so good! The only thing that is missing is getting my BLTouch 3.1 to work with the SKR mini E3 board v 1.2 and Merlin. I can't seem to find the proper way to do this on the Ender 5 with this board. Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Hello! Welcome to the forums. We sure can help. Have you verified the compatibility between the board and BLtouch 3.1? I remember reading some type of issue with a certain BLtouch and SKR Mini.

Let me look in the config files and see what exactly you need to change and I'll update the post shortly.

@print3d, Thanks! I don't remember seeing anything about that incompatibility.

@geekafy

If you look at these files and use the compare tool you will see differences to enable the BLTouch. I always use https://www.diffchecker.com/

I seem to have tried and looked at the files but can't seem to figure it out.  😟

I also tried looking for some documentation, can't really find anything that would explain step by step.

@print3d I took a look at this guide and it helped quite a bit. Managed to build the firmware and seems to be working. Have not had the chance to touch it for a week (busy at work) will try to tinker with it this week-end.
